Composite materials, thanks to its multiple properties, are increasingly used to reinforce structures made of metal components, e.g. tanks, containers, pipes or structures exposed to weathering, underground or underwater, to provide them high resistance to external agents.

In numerous tests carried out, composites have demonstrated its excellent strength and durability in a wide variety of acidic, alkaline and oxidising environments, but composites are also suitable for a wide temperature ranges, due to their low thermal conductivity.
